EduFleek is proud to host the next Johannesburg High School Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, taking place on Saturday, 16 May 2026 at St David’s Marist Inanda, Sandton.

This conference brings together high school learners from across Johannesburg for a dynamic day of debate, diplomacy, and global problem-solving.

To ensure a high-quality experience and meaningful participation, the conference will run in two sessions:

  • Morning Session: 08:00 – 12:00
  • Afternoon Session: 12:30 – 16:30

Each session is limited to 40 delegates, creating an environment where every student has the opportunity to speak, engage, and lead.

Addressing Threats to Maritime Security, International Law, and Global Energy Stability in the Strait of Hormuz

What is Model United Nations?

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation where students represent countries in the United Nations.

Participants will:

  • Deliver opening speeches
  • Engage in structured (formal) debate
  • Negotiate in informal caucuses
  • Collaboratively draft resolutions
  • Vote on solutions to global challenges

It is one of the most effective platforms for developing:

  • Public speaking and confidence
